John takes Simon to a football match at Etihad because Simon loves football but all of his memories around it are bad; drunkenness, violence, drugs, crime. It was a birthday present from John's sister and John insists he doesn't want to go alone.

Manchester City versus Liverpool, one of the biggest rivalries in English professional football, and Simon is wound up tight because he's ready for a fight, even though he's walking right next to a man with a red Liverpool scarf around his neck.

The fight... doesn't come.

Simon has a shitty pint or two, and an even shittier hot dog, he roars and cheers and commiserates when the ref makes a bad call, sings "Blue Moon", "We Love You City" and "If You All Hate Man United, Clap Your Hands" at the top of his lungs, and fuckin' well kisses John Price straight on the damn mouth when City smash a last minute winner into the back of the net.

Price can take or leave football. He's as loyal to the Reds as the next bloke, but fuckin' hell, he'll buy a Man City season ticket if he can see Simon that alive again.

As for Simon? Something in him healed that weekend. There's hope for him. He's making progress. One small step at a time.

Vampire Fiddleford/Werewolf Stanley Au:

(Might be bc I’m working on a short fic for this)

- Fiddleford got bitten by a “retired” vampire bat while on a research expedition with Ford in the local cave-systems

- Ford only noticed when Fidds lashed out at him by accident (took a month or two)

- Ford attempted to look after/research a cure for him while simultaneously working on the portal by himself. Fiddleford felt bad for the stress he was indirectly putting on him, so he snuck out and stayed away for a few months until he became a bit more stable.

- Fiddleford has memory loss/amnesia from the time he first got bitten bc he was slowly going crazy from starvation

- Stan got bitten by what he thought was a Coyote when he fell asleep on a park bench (it wasn’t)

- He was then convinced he had contracted rabies, scraped his money together for a rabies shot, only to find out he didn’t have it

- Fiddleford doesn’t remember the portal incident bc of amnesia/brain fog

- Eventually fed off of vermin (felt really gross about it) until he learned to hunt

- Stan usually isn’t able to “fully turn” during full moons, he calls it “werewolf constipation”

- Caused by stress which he refuses to address

- Stan has higher hemoglobin (like wolves) so his blood tastes better so it has a distinct scent (to Fiddleford anyway)

- Full moons give him knee/back pain due to his bones shifting, takes enough ibuprofen to kill a man

- Fiddleford covers his mouth any time he smiles/laughs because he doesn’t like his fangs

- His hair still grows, but it does so extremely slowly. Meanwhile, Stan has the opposite issue.

- Ingestion of blood provides very limited blood flow to vampires but does not inhibit function (movement, breathing etc.)

- Stanley doesn’t much care for his abilities, finding them more of a nuisance. He does appreciate the heightened strength, however, but still experiences joint pain.

- Although more durable, Fiddleford is still able to get injured, they just take twice as long to heal

- Stan smells like rank BO & wet dog 80% of the time, Fiddleford tries to ignore it

- Hunting works out for both of them when they end up working together. Stan can use the meat and Fiddleford the blood.

- Stan learned how to hunt from some of the locals as he reasoned it would be similar enough to fishing. Went for it since he was low on money, and his enhanced senses made some foods taste/smell weird. Never bothered to get a hunting license.

- Stan usually keeps to himself the week before full moons when Fiddleford moves in. Mitigates the severity of said pains as he’s used to dealing with it alone & feels he doesn’t need someone to look after him.

- Stan is the one to teach Fiddleford how to hunt with his minimal experience.

- They meet after Stan has been moved in for 3 months after Ford fell into the portal. Fiddleford remembers Stanley from old pictures Ford had hidden in an old textbook (ref. Book of Bill)

- Stan only found out Fiddleford was a vampire after he caught him draining the raccoon that kept pushing over the trash cans at night

- Fiddleford found out Stan was a werewolf because he had coincidentally stepped out at the same time that night during a full moon

Another excruciating day to get through, it's definitely not like you don't have enough weight on your back anyway. As a groaned muffle nuzzles against the comforting warmth the pillow provided you for your nights at your apartment, you had to abandon it for the day.

What a pain.

The scents of sweet dreams coaxed back to you, begging you back on its field of roses, but your body subconsciously moved to try — to prove their worth, to do their job, what's the point of their job if they don't even do it right?

Lazily, you trudge over to the sink, slowly squeezing out the toothpaste from its container onto the toothbrush; lethargically brushing your teeth and attempting to brush your hair in a way at least presentable.

You were a fashionable one, but today you weren't feeling like it, so you just slipped on the first outfit you found okay-ish in your wardrobe.

All actions are done in a half-asleep manner, no one — not even you, would be surprised if you didn't look as neat as the mirror reflected with blurry eyes gazing at it.

Exiting your bedroom, you are met with the sight of a short ginger lounging on your living room sofa. The one you're so very familiar with. How could you not? You could recognise those bleu céleste eyes even if you were on your last breath.

Speaking of the one and only Chuuya, he seemed to make himself at home, one leg over the other whilst sitting on your couch, the faintest sound of the television casting a romcom in it in the background as his eyes travelled over you. Frowning subtly when he saw the eyebags underneath your eyes, and how you didn't look even remarkably close to the enthusiastic person he knew you were.

Wait, how'd he even get into your house? Ah right, you gave him a spare key, but that brings another question to your mind —

" Chuu'? Don't you have work today? "

The words leave your lips almost without your own will, the blank look on your face causing Chuuya to dryly chuckle.

" No, not anymore at least. You've been clearly down for the past few weeks, overworked, not showing up to our dates — even more, because you're over the moon at the smallest amount of time you spend with me, "

The words weren't meant to be cocky or arrogant, it was the truth. Considering how busy both of you are, you both are equally elated whenever you two get to spend time together, no matter what you're doing.

" So, I've decided to take a day off for my doll, we can stay home, do whatever the fuck ya' want, just spend time. Would you like that? "

Chuuya asked, but both of you knew there was no other way out, he was a man of his word after all. A smile, which seemed rare after its long-term disappearance, appeared on your lips. A sigh escapes your body, treading over to your boyfriend as he smiles marginally at your submission. He wraps his arms around his beloved's body, whispering coos in his low voice as he brings you to sit on his lap.

Oh right, you had work, and you still didn't tell them that you wouldn't go at least. Either way, the exhaustion caught up to you, and you failed to argue any further, letting Chuuya carry you around for the rest of the day, treating you as a princex to be cared for.

With him around, you can let your insecurities loose and worries dissipate.

full reference for my fallout new vegas companion oc, oviedo! realized I never made him a ref, so I wanted to make his extra special <3

extra info below! (it's a lot)

Introductory Stuff! oviedo vasquez is an NCR ranger. he is stationed at the colorado cliffside at the order of the NCR, observing the legion through his rifle's scope. it is intended that the courier can meet oviedo while working the NCR questline, and can even elect him as a companion after completing his companion quest, MOON RIVER. oviedo can be swayed from the clutches of the NCR and into the courier's debt after the completion of his quest. he is a very faithful man, and very dangerous, too. he will stay by the courier's side unless they side with the legion, to which he will not tolerate them any longer. oviedo also has a long-lost daughter named cassandra; the last remnant of his past he desperately struggles to find. he doesn't talk much about her, nor his past... Personality Notes! oviedo is very blunt. he is standoffish at first and can be read as rude, but beneath that rough exterior is a very loyal, and very hurt, man.  the NCR has molded oviedo into a lethal sniper, thus he is potent with his weapon of choice and very resourceful out in the mojave. he's been with the NCR long enough to become a ranger. if you can stand his distance and periodic blunt insults, you'd find oviedo to be a very useful companion.  he cares about you. a lot. even if it seems like he doesn't. Character Design Notes! some notes on the Cool Dad Companion...... this info has been borrowed from his artfight profile, so some of the language is based around helping others draw him!

oviedo has four jagged scars on the right side of his face. they trail down his neck and stop before his collarbone

hairstyle can be played with! he often sports the mullet. the graying hair is integral

outfit generally stays the same. for a simpler approach, i'll just take off his hat, duster, and glasses.

lastly, but most importantly, oviedo is latino. please don't whitewash him!

BONUS: Companion Quest and Perk? Huh? MOON RIVER is oviedo's companion quest! working the NCR's questline, the courier can meet oviedo at his post by the colorado river. he'll ignore you until you mention you've been ordered to work with him, and he really cannot ignore his orders. the legion is planning an attack on the NCR encampment across the river - or so is the NCR's hunch. they need someone inconspicuous to retrieve proof of this hunch, and that someone is you, of course! totally not because oviedo wants to be left alone and so he sends you into the legion incognito, risking your life - nope, not at all! under oviedo's guidance and sniper protection, the quest is easily completed. the pair of you present your findings together afterwards. oviedo will then pull you aside and be honest with you, informing you of how you'd overcome his expectations and that he is in your favor. now you can travel together! the courier can also complete MOON RIVER without working the NCR questline. to do this, you can find oviedo at his post by the colorado river and pass a few incremental speech checks. if speech checks fail, the courier can persuade him with charms using the black widow or confirmed bachelor perks. oviedo is... kind of a hopeless romantic and likes praise. so yeah. HAHAH if the courier has a negative reputation with the NCR (i.e. legion build) then oviedo will shoot at you before you can get too close. just... instantly aggro'ed by scent I suppose? EYES OF THE HAWK is oviedo's companion perk. it is a VATS enhancement. while traveling with oviedo, you have increased VATS chances of 50% using a scoped weapon, or increased VATS chances of 30% using a non-scoped weapon. Trivia!

a comfortable silence takes over and you move your hand to ruffle his hair. your fingertips caress his messy mop with utmost care, as if he was going to break like glass with the slightest pressure. your fingernails scratch his scalp and he instantly relaxes. well, his arms around your waist don’t.

“we can’t keep doing this, y’know?” you sigh, rubbing his back gently. he could feel his heart weigh down and the fuzzy feeling in his chest ceases. he knows what you mean, but he wishes he doesn’t.

“keep doing what?” his voice is still raspy and tired, like it was every single morning when you woke beside him.

“this. all of this.” he hears his heart crack and he thinks you did too. “it’s wrong,” you add, ignoring how your heart thumps.

AFTER SO LONG, THEIR REF IS DONE. my take at sun and moon :]

Lil silly hcs of em I have below..

Moondrop

- moon is 7'9, a little bit taller and lankier than sun due to his flexible and athletic ability as a security retrieval unit bot. Hence the claws, sharp teeth and speed, he's meant to retrieve any rogue animatronic (ex. Freddy or monty) that is out of its station. Or any intruder that unfortunately enters the place Compared to sun who doesn't have that programming (or did, it's now deactivated but can still be triggered slightly)

- he's overly hyper around kids and those he's comfortable around. But when it's other staff members or people, moon will tend to calm down if not just not acknowledge you. The mans like a cat, he will not care about you unless your his favorite

-doesn't really smile at anyone but those he cares about. You will always see this guy scowling or just bored, don't take it personally. He just simply doesn't care about anyone but his own babygirls and kids.

-moon will curse, absolutely all the damn time. Sun hates it. Poe LOVEs it. Sun beats them up cause he's a bad influence to hope about it.

-he loves crawling on the walls like a lil freak to Jumpscare anyone. Particularly craig. It doesn't work on hope tho.

-moon is incredibly attached to craig and his sister, he sees him like a small child to take care of and coddles him to PLS rest cause he never does (even if Craig is 25). But essentially he imprinted himself like a guardian figure to craig, at least that's how moon sees it. Craig still thinks he's a annoying freak (affectionate)

- his temper is rather short, it doesn't seem like it in hindsight but you can get on moon's badside very quickly.

-he tend to loaf around like a cat and bend in ways when he flops asleep anywhere. Sometimes he curls around sun, hope or craig like a cage as a protective habit. It becomes hard to untangle him tho.

-his clothes and body can glow in the dark as a comfort for children! However sometimes his mouth can glow too and that's just for him to be a lil cheshire cat asshole to scare people HFKDK

-both of moons eyes were originally white like sun's however side effects of the virus still lingered slightly even after his new body was built so they seemed to have stuck to those colors.

- Craig built his new body! Using old schematics and new ones he made himself with moon's preferences to finally help him out of the faulty virus with sun. It took quite a bit to help adjust to his new body. His hands and face are made of a soft silicone padding to be safe for children and his claws can hide like a cat's (he's just a cat really JFKFK)

-moon actually has somr canes for when he needed help to use his body. He technically still uses them whenever his limbs feel too tired or overexherted from certain actions

-moon uses solar power in the daytime to charge.

Sunrise

- sunny is 7'5", still pretty tall but not as much as moon who is basically freddy sized.

- his model was upgraded to be similar to moon after craig built them a new body to help fix any left over potential errors in their programming.

- before he called himself sundrop as a mix with moon's name when they shared a single body. Now that they're separate his original name continues as sunrise once again. Though he prefer sunny, Mr sun, and sundrop (only by moon and poe).

-despite being the sun animatronic, sun is very gentle and calm compared to moon. He of course has the same zoomy moments as moon. But they're a little toned down sometimes to help with any children who have overstimulation issues (moon has a similar concept but he's insane cause of his security program at night) he's very motherly in nature and tends to be overly sweet to even naughty kids to try to coax them out of their attitude to avoid banning them (he doesn't like doing that. Except for Gregory fuck that kid HRKDKD)

- sun also has claws and sharp teeth (old security program from moon) but he never uses them and prefers not to. If he's VERY upset, then perhaps they'll activate like a tick but he hates them. His claws are all battered and chewed up from anxiety trauma from moon's virus and no matter how much craig replaces them sun does it again so he gave up on it.

-sun has chewing and some harmful Stims to himself that he can't help but do when he's stressed. Moon and poe try to calm him out of it as best they can by keeping him company when he's alone or giving him stim toys when he's taking care of children. The bell on his neck was given to him by poe for that! (The one for moon also as a complimentary to sun :])

-sun is clingy, hates to be alone and tends to always be around moon or poe. He HATES being along and it scares him after the long years of not being able to interact with moon out of fear of that virus they had. It got him very bad and he just can't be by himself anymore without moon alongside him or poe to talk to. (They don't mind they love being clingy with each other)

-when moon got his body, sun essentially gave him physical therapy to help moon adjust to moving.

-sun loves putting stickers on everything. His face, on moon, on the kids or poe. If you see stickers everywhere its not just the kids it's sun's love language UFKDKk.

-sun patrols the late afternoon of the plex before night time just to be sure there are no lost children (or adults,,,) after the place has closed.

- He's not quite used to leaving the daycare and there was a time before moon got his body where sun had an intense agoraphobia to leave, afraid he might hurt others if the lights went out and he wasn't locked in the daycare to avoid hurting anyone. Poe helped him out of this fear afterward

-sun loved making art and bouncing around. His favorite thing to do is origami you'll see many little origami animals of certain fellas he works with as a cute love language. He'll also always be ontop of poe or clinging on moon, when he's not he's busy cleaning and being a cute lil gay sunshine boy.

- sun also loves singing. He doesn't have a music box like moon but he tends to hum and sing on his own (from his old theater programming) and you'll see him reenacting some musicals while cleaning in the most dramatic way with his broom or the toys around the daycare. Sometimes moon will dance around with him and try to sing and poe would too (reluctantly)

-he loves cuddling with moon and poe in a pile in his room full of pillows and plushies.

-like moon, sun is very attached to hope and her brother. Particularly the young child as he's very protective and guilt ridden from the incident he had with her thr first night she came to the daycare where moon accidentally hurt her as the lights went out. Theyll never forgive themselves for that, even if hope doesn't mind. But he's always around the little kid and thinks of her as his own, and sometimes hope has slipped "dad" at sun which has made the sun attendant malfunction incredibly in the best way. But he'll always play with her anything she wants and keep her company with moon since hope doesn't like socializing with other kids.

-if you curse he'll actually throw you. And sun is INCREDIBLY strong.

the first and highest ranked of the vampires. often depicted merciless and tyrannical. no man is he, but a bloodlusting creature of the night. showing fang to any and all who dare trespass his homestead. yet, in truth, this vampire is far from the most evil of all. despite his particular dislike towards hunters and some humans, his hunts have long ago come to a halt. and though he once was one of animalistic nature. those traits have long since subsided, instead, he bears nonchalance of the thought of his children taking human lives, innocent or not alike. and often leaves it to servants to go and gather food, as he prefers staying in his castle together with his husband. in present day, he is a mere legend. one told to scare easily paranoid townsfolk. yet none realise the vampire king never rests, and always looks upon the lands with an opened eye. watching.

husband to the vampire king of the west and a former researcher in his human years. he still retains his love for knowledge and tries his utmost hardest to bestow it upon his children. yet being a high half-blood turned by the king himself has its downsides. especially when it comes to feral nature. this gentle soul struggles with the animalistic bloodlust that courses through his veins. the desire to hurt, to maim. the manic moon is what they call him, merciless in every right - do not let his kind nature fool you. he despises letting go of his control and slipping into these states of madness. yet what is even more agony is watching his children decent into their own madness - with his husband never spouting a reprimand. ‘it’s a vampire’s nature,’ he says, and so shi finds himself despairing further. what is this beast that he has become? is he not happy to live alongside his husband for all eternity? even if he does struggle to maintain his thirst and might lash into states of sadistic glee. perhaps death was better. nevertheless, he will continue to write his poetries and novels. yearning for peace.

with fingertips stained red with fresh blood, the triplet of the royal eldest sons hold no mercy for the mortal. delighting in their screams and fear. as much as he delights in the pleasures and persuasion before strike. one of the most deceitful of the sons, never truly having a side but his own. he instigates, pulling at strings just for a good laugh. cruel to sometimes even his younger siblings. one would think such an animalistic, bloodthirsty creature could bear no love for the world. yet. his poetry, written as if his heart was the purest of all. the vampire enjoys the wonder of nature, the beauty of the forest and the meadow. curious of mind he is too, quick one to capture those whom he may believe to bear interesting news. education. research. he adores people’s theories of his kind. why let them run around and give them to other mortals, if he could pry their words from their mouths with a sire bond. Most of the time when talisen is not out hunting for food. He recites his poetry to the townsfolk. Each and every beautiful word fallen from his lips sought after for the ear to hear by old and young.

refined and studious, perhaps even a little aloof, a triplet of the royal eldest sons. an aura of serenity to mask the restraint of maliciousness that many find amusing, seeing as his smothered malice already extends to such great lengths in terms of violence. he writes, attempting to sate the desire. teaches a class of higher education in the art of linguistics and the craft of writing. yet despite this love for such an art, at times he wishes nothing more than to bathe in the blood of his own sadism. stealing away students to feast on their blood and write about it in the thralls of his novels and stories. the encounters that he shares. the people that he meets. it is most difficult to keep himself in check. what with the yearn for cruelty and the thrilling taste of blood on his tongue. perhaps he should write with crimson instead.

always looking for something to sate his boredom with cunning grins and sadistic ways. he turns to the cruel works and tricks of vampires unto the unsuspecting man. a triplet to the royal eldest sons, upholding a sarcastic and blunt persona. this vampire prince loves risks and wagers, which is why one can find him in one of the local taverns as a bar tender — unbeknownst to most that enter that he runs the gambling ring. he always adores a challenge, a risk. and he never loses. his pride and cunning intelligence won't allow him to. loves making wagers and bets, especially if it means he can find himself a new human to toy around with. one can often find him with his hand fan raised to his face. staring over it with keen, silver eyes. and fangs ready to tear in.

the second oldest of the royal family together with his twin xuan jie. haoyu is a famous artist, with exceptional skill in his craft, known well across the kingdoms and lands, both by humans, in his alias as “the muse,” and by vampires as his royal title, for making portraits out of the finest of inks, and the statues out of the most peculiar stone none have seen before. what little know, is the very fact, that the paints are mixed with blood to create a unique smooth texture, and the sculptures made of ground bone, turned into hard stone with ancient knowledge and techniques from his father’s books. the man is animalistic, always on the prowl to find a toy to play around with for a bit, before collecting their blood and bone. of course, not without a little bite and taste. his savageness often results in scoldings from his father and even some of his siblings, despite their own savage traits. he goes all out into the pleasure of killing for the purpose of making his precious art.

a mortician in town. she tends to keep herself to the dead in a strained effort of retaining her own violence and urges. unlike her twin, xuan jie tries with utmost effort to remain courtes. yet at times she cannot help but have a bite of some of the fresh corpses that find their way into the morgue. . . what does it matter? they are dead anyway. yet the notion makes her feel all the more guilty. as the first daughter of the nocturne kingdom, she upholds a sort of motherly persona - all shrouded amongst her monotone and sometimes rough exterior. she prefers to retain studious rather than give into the animalistic urges that come with her vampirism. sometimes, she finds herself slipping, however. it is these times that one is reminded what a beast she can truly be.

love letters sealed with a kiss of red lipstick. poetries and paintings depicted of vast romances and exciting escapees - such is the life of the third princess of nocturne. a hopeless romantic continuously seeking enamourment. with her various lovers all around, one might depict her kind and eccentric attitude for her being a kinder soul in comparison to her siblings. in reality, the many kisses that she gives are bloodstained. fang marks litter her beloveds. one night question why there is always a new lover — yet one would not dare ask what happened to the previous. she adores ‘collecting’ her adorers. draining them dry so that they might live with her forever.

ever the solemn, lovesick fool. the fourth oldest of the royal family, and twin to haitao, whom he often acts nonchalant around. despite bursts of savageness at times when at loss of control. has always been on the less animalistic side, looking for diplomacy rather than violence and death. While also yearning for a love, forbidden by his family and kind. to fall for a human? it is a grave of shame, but for Denara? he will lay in for all eternity if it meant he could keep seeing her. Truths hidden. Telling brothers and sisters of his small expeditions that they are nothing but hunts, to sate his bloodthirst - or that he is simply working in the ‘flower’s meadow café’ a little more than usual to gather information. Some, he has deceived. Others, he has left dwelling in suspicion. ah, but despite all of the kind and quiet exteriors. should he be provoked enough, he will, without hesitance, retort to animalistic cold-blooded slaughter of whoever he deems should die. The archivist son of the royal family, and xiyang's twin brother. A quiet individual who takes pleasure in killing for the purposes of studying. Dragging corpses and living back to the castle catacombs to study them in his little archive. Frantically writing books and documents about new diseases, old ones to restore, syndromes, how to drive mortals mad, anything that could threaten humanity, just in case. one is never too sure when they could need it. amongst bookshelves and stonewalls, he likes to also use his time to watch research about his own kind being made by the famed vampire researcher, rishen herrera, herself. truly a fascinating sight to behold. often, he likes to bring his siblings along for hunts, so that they track down and kill and he gets the benefit of the corpse or items after.

wild eyes and grinning teeth, this prince of the nocturne is known for his incessant hunger. the thrill of the hunt is what gets him ticking. he adores those that rile him up and tempt his bloodlust. he's not one to deny himself. an indulger with a sick sense of humour and twisted grins to match. to hide this feral demeanour, he takes up a job as a weapon's master within one of the various towns. pushing out some of his violent urges into the teaching of swords and knives. although it never truly helps. he will always fall favour to chases through the winding forest of his kingdom. tearing his claws into his poor, frightened victim - and delighting in their screams as the hunt finally comes to an end. alas, it only means that he is to find new prey. but oh, does he love the game nevertheless.

with swift feet, quick reflex and mind, despite being of the lowest heirarchy of all his siblings. a downright runt, as he has been called — zhào yìzé, the sixth son of the vampiric royal family, is known to be one of the calmer vampires. and while the boy, yes, does go and feed on people, it moreso for staying fed and full. rather than doing it for coldblooded and animalistic purposes. he enjoys the quiet surroundings, working around the forest and scouting. often acting to be a caretaker of it to humans who wander into the forest. most of the time, he guides them out. with a particular fear of one of his older brothers catching onto the scent them. well, unless the human has means of bad brought to the forest. he has not fed properly for a few days either, what would the harm be?

another artist heir of the nocturne dynasty, yet silent in nature throughout. dayin finds themself in a constant state of dulled, monochromatic experience and life itself, despite the vast colours that they often paint with. one might depict them as cold, aloof, and all sorts of indifferent. in truth, they simply do not care about the world around them. bored, is what they are. it is why they do not find themself venturing to find a thrilling second life amongst the humans in the day like their siblings do. yet one should be careful as to pique their interest. as this is when a grim obsession settles over. and dáyín quickly overindulges out of the sheer need to feel something. even if it means playing with a heart.

swift hands and calculated slices to contrast the storm within a non-beating heart. the young vampire finds herself in a healer cove amongst the supernatural. spilling out her malice into the act of healing instead. or at least, that is what she tells herself. the wrath that bridles within her heart is unmatched. one that confuses even her. what with her stoic appearance and the difficulty to decipher emotions of both others and herself. perhaps rage is easier to feel than others. perhaps drinking the blood of different supernaturals is sweeter to the taste than that of a human. whatever the case may be. she finds herself slipping regardless. and often embarks on mini massacres through the towns and villages of humans when emotions rise too high for her.

a coy smile. the graceful fall of silk along pale skin. a night of pleasure with the youngest vampire prince of the nocturne is what many lust for. what - with those pretty pink eyes of his, batting at his clients. the small bite of his thumb nail. xueling finds himself taking up a job at one of the red light districts rather than all the refined occupations that his siblings advance in. why not? he gets ample information from all of his vast clients and not to mention numerous hours of pleasure. he's considered one of the best in the business. seducing even the most calloused of souls and rising the business toll through the roof. although, lust and promises of pleasure is the ultimate way in luring those that particularly catch his eye. stealing them away for scandalous nights and hours, if only to drink them dry when the lust burts through. for to indulge one’s blood and body is of the utmost erotic art - and he himself is quite a lover of the arts.

an intelligence to scare the supernatural coupled with a deadly curiosity and the unwavering need for answers. a high ranked halfblood and the writer of the vampire legendarium that you have come across. after losing his parents to vampires, he embarked on a journey to find out all that he could about them - so that he might destroy each and every one of them. a kind soul turned by none other than one of the eldest of the nocturne kingdom - zhào talisen. having been well on his way at discovering information that would have put vampires at risk, he was turned out of sadistic mockery and dragged to the palace nocturne. to aid the royal family in decoding nature about hunters and other vampire lore instead. considering his keen eye and wit. now, he is the royal researcher. searching for answers when tasks are brought to him and trying to deny the urge to drink of blood. it disgusts him. so does the rise in sadistic vampiric nature. to think he is now a being that he has despised for years. and now feeds like them. thinks like them. he tries to retain his kindness, in his mind. however, he thinks he is slowly going mad.

once an enchanter, now a high ranked halfblood. of a family that had sworn servitude to the kingdom nocturne for centuries. a head to the royal guard who loyally carried out his duties. yet was turned when he reached his death bed by his now sire, zhào talisen. dealing with the notion that his mortality was ripped away from him, along with the obsession of the prince, he has long since hardened his heart. considered to be a cold and standoffish man at times, or an indifferent, lifeless one at others. he takes no pleasure in life any longer and simply continues his duties with as much pride as he can muster. trying his utmost to deny his carnal urges and the sadistic ticks that run through his mind. he cannot always, and often feeds on many once he's starved himself enough to lose control. guilt always settles in after, and he'll dive back into his constant job as the head knight. a vicious cycle.

The king of the east, and the inventor of telepathy. Indeed. . . The master of it, teaching it to his people and kingdoms outside. He's long lost his mind. The sacrifices held in his name. slaughtering mortal left and right and turning them for his own pleasure. It drives him mad. He broke rules for her. Taking her away from her lover to be with him, he's better than a hunter. He is manipulative, a sharp knife that never dulls. Hungry for flesh and blood, but only that of lisse's. Her blood being the only source of feeding he takes. It forces his insanity to push further away from sense. Deranged. What is a few five-thousand-lives taken if it means he has her all to himself? She will love him.

Charming smiles and pesuasive silver tongued words. The king of the Abyss, ever gleeful. Partying and staying up with the humans and vampires of his kingdom. His little, perfect, worshippers. Oh they're all adorable. By far, this is one of the first kingdoms we see mortal and vampire in harmony. A cult of humans, that Rinfier one autumn night stumbled upon with his loyal guard along his side. They worshipped vampires — oh and he was quick to convince their leader and them to join him, help build his kingdom. He'd grant them all and everything they so wished for. In turn for their blood and endless loyalty to gather more. Animalistic urges often shoved away by sheer will, if he wishes for them to come out. Why not expose people of other kingdoms to it?

cold eyes. few words. a frightening intelligence. one is not to expect anything less from the queen of the South other than a sharp stare and the threat of losing their heads. emotion is something she has long abandoned. a queen does not feel. feared amongst the lands for the simple fact that she usurped the throne from her father and six older siblings. one cannot kill a pureblood, and so instead she nailed them to the walls of the catacombs. a good ruler must do what is best for her kingdom. and so she has. a calloused heart to even her own husband who is locked away in the confines of her room. a harsh soul to her own son. the sweet taste of victory from overcoming her position as runt of the family is nothing in comparison to the repeated paranoia that her very son might do the same to her as she has done to her own family. after all, intelligence is what drives her lineage mad. it is what broke her own mind, after all.

charming yet callous. the heir to the frost throne and seen as no better than his mother. what with his calloused acts, the way that he so mercilessly mangles his victims for the pure sake of it. yet no one will ever come to know the truth that all of his killings, his very title as a bloodthirsty ripper - is by the order of his mother. to kill or be killed. to be the prince and an assassin of the kingdom at the same time. it is a way for her to keep him under her thumb. and oh, it does. making his mind tick at the sight of blood. the thrill of a kill. yet a never ending guilt. a forever paranoia to match the queen's. thinking that he will be next once he's become a threat to her power of the throne. perhaps he should start taking his own precautions. . . or perhaps he should see that the curse of his lineage is true. and that he is indeed losing his mind the more intelligent he becomes. the more calculative he grows.

dubbed untouchable, the loyal leader of the vampire hunters has been around for centuries now. he has seen what none has and has for years now hunted vampires like the plague. hatred growing each bloodstain of a comrade spilt by the hungry creatures. and just as broken branches, scattered like the pieces of glass that fell graciously to the earth when the mirrors shatter each new death of a friend before the hunter. with a promise to those fallen, he shall always put their names to respect and rest. his soul never once bittering, only solemnly pulsating after a rough life, that, to him, has no end in sight until he kills all vampires. or dies trying. what truly brought his soul to dissolve was losing his beloved to the bloodlusting, tyrannical vampire king of the east. that bastard of the carmine, taking away his wife. and despite his close bond with his hunters. the familial love he had with them. a part of him blames them for not getting to her and protecting her. as much as he blames himself. each day is a one of insanity, struggling to fully trust himself. His hunters, struggling to trust townsfolk who simply wish to visit him and assure he is alright. he hates it. She gives those out to everyone who loses (except for Dandy), but Shelly treasures it anyway.

The possibilities of certain story elements of AOT going differently if Annie never crystalised herself? Of course, it would still lead her to be arrested and questioned, making Armin worried (etc.) Though, what about other storyline segments? Like, what if she was there when Reiner & Bert revealed themselves? Helping to stop Rod Reiss with Eren? Or fighting Reiner along with Eren again, while taking back Sina? ..To also witness Armin's burnt body. Man, that'd be tragic, huh?

But - hey! At least Armin's and Annie's relationship could grow with them together! Plus, gives him a reason to be held by Annie, in her Titan Form. All of this sparked out of.. nowhere, really... I just really like Aruani. Have a wonderful day, Moon!

Hiii anon!!!! I'm sorry this took so long to respond (in case you thought I ignored you, that's totally not it T^T) - I just needed some time to process this!

This is actually very interesting to think about, especially since we often acknowledge the magnitude of the impact Aruani's Female Titan arc had on the story as a whole. There's many posts about that, about how the rest of AoT literally wouldn't have existed if not for Stohess. It was Armin's cornering of Annie and her crystallization that set everything in motion.

Now, let's get to your questions! (tho I'm very bad at AU and canon-divergence stuff so I'm sorry in advance and bear with me 🥲)

Considering that for the most part we are given the impression that Annie was the only one in RBA actually doing any serious work in ref to their mission (ie she wasn't losing herself in living a false reality like Reiner nor hesitating to act like Bertholdt), it kind strikes me that she would NOT have been impressed when Reiner and Bertholdt... revealed their identities. As aloof and disliking of her companions as she may have seemed, Annie's loyalty to them and the secrets they were keeping cannot be ignored - the whole reason she crystallized was so nobody would get a word out of her and that those two would remain safe. So imagine her horror when those two just waltz up to Eren and go "Heyyyy we're the chunky titan and the big titan, what's good?" 🙃

Tho before all this, we have to step back a bit and wonder - how much would she have given away while being questioned? Not much of her volition imo, but perhaps someone smart (say Armin, Hange, etc) would piece together little bits of info she lets slip, or her interrogation is purposely set up to exhaust and drive her to the point of near-madness until she gives up. Perhaps a combination of the two too.

It's also pertinent to note that tho loyal, Annie's also selfishly driven to her own cause - that of returning to her father, so we should also probably underline the possibility that she co-operates with the enemy (in this case Paradis) if it means she can find an escape back home along the way. It cannot be stressed enough that doing this is not too out of line for Annie's character, but it will load her with a massive tonne of guilt she'll never talk to anyone about, especially if it means leaving Reiner and Bertholdt's fate in their own hands. Annie was taught by her father to rely on herself and trust nobody else. There's only so much of leeway she can allow her emotions to have before she steels herself again.

Back to your questions! Assuming a scenario exists where Annie doesn't give away Rei-Bert's identities, instead striking a deal with Erwin, let's say, to keep some of her secrets while co-operating with the Scouts (this is a ticking time-bomb Erwin's planning to take control of, but mind you, Annie wants to escape before it comes to that). Rei-bert expose themselves on the wall and take off with Eren.

What will Annie do? Will she stay with the Scouts to get Eren back, or follow those two hoping they'll somehow make it past Shiganshina where the others can't follow? A chance to return home?

It's hard to say, given she's still loyal to her cause and Reibert, and coldly realistic in her approach that just because she's cooperating with the Scouts doesn't mean she switches sides - acting is only a temporary gig to get what she wants and to where she wants. If she stays with the Scouts, it's probably only to hit a milestone of an escape plan she's got; but if she goes off with Reibert, then it's because she sees her chance and takes it.

What then? We again have two possibilities forking out of this one scenario alone. Will she escape successfully with Reiner, Bert and Ymir? Or will she be caught by the Scouts and stay in Paradis; what becomes of her trustworthiness then? (nothing good. For aruani, add more angst)

With Rod Reiss, you know I honestly think it'd be REALLY interesting for Annie to meet with Kenny again xD I honestly love how every single one of the three Ackermans managed to get Annie at one point in time or the other (it's funny lmao) - it would be SO intriguing to see her come face to face with him. I'm not sure what thematic/symbolic significance this could have (I'm typing this out while sleepy xD), but I think something about Kenny being a slave to his ideals and desires could lead Annie to question her own beliefs or rather, mirror hers albeit in a different light. Kenny's "love" is shown to us in a very twisted shape - ie his relationship with Kuchel, his "raising" of Levi (with violence and purpose. reminds you of another father, maybe?), his pursuit of impossible dreams vis a vis Annie's very simple ones. I don't really know what I'm trying to say here except that I'm now picturing Annie being in the frame (perhaps hidden or not) when Levi finds out that the dying Kenny is his uncle - it seems important in a way I can't quite put to words xD?

About Shiganshina... oh we can't talk about Shiganshina 🥲🥲🥲🥲 I only know for certain that Aruani's relationship would most likely have progressed into a solid relationship, maybe? by this point (or not, given the speed at which things were happening left and right...), so... I can't even begin to imagine the devastation that Armin's "death" and the subsequent Serum Debacle would wreak on Annie. Tho the latter is honestly a PRIME opportunity for her feelings to become obvious to everyone that was blind to it hehe xD

But the angst... not only will it be Annie's guilt about battling Rei-Bert again (whether or not she's still playing actor or has legimiately switched sides is irrelevant)........ but also.... what would a struggle among Ackerman and Leonhart vs Ackerman have come to? God. You know, I actually wanna see that T^T Levi's just gonna lie there and be like "I hate these 104th girls. Always whining about some idiot boy, fuck my life. Erwin, haul me up man."

God. We'd never run out of possibilities to talk about xD You could draw a flowchart or a scenario-tree and it'd just keep going.

Anyway, I'm sorry that this is ALL over the place, really, I couldn't find a way to logically talk about all these things without diving into pages and pages worth of hyper specific possibilities (and that will bore everybody to death) T___T all the same it's very messy and incoherent imo, so I apologise if this isn't what you wanted!
